Journal 01

Today I learned a lesson. Some friendships will wither away, no matter how much you water it. But that’s okay just like we move around old stuff and make way for new shiny stuff, we are making space in our life for someone new! Sounds crazy, I know! It may not be the same, there’s always a chance it could be a ton better. Besides if they are meant to stay in our lives, they will always find a way.

Recently I discovered what it’s to be like to be my own best friend. Sounds lonely but I am actually a good friend so I thought maybe I will take those efforts to take care of myself too. Being my own best friend was eye opening. I learned to be kinder to myself, because I noticed I talked to myself in much harsher tones, than when I spoke to my friends.
